Can some kind person remind me what our stake in Pluto Digital is?
Now Emergent Entertainment.
Indeed Bubba - so many of these investment companies trading at times at under 50% of there current NAV...
Likes of PIRI and RGO are two very such examples and RGO yields over 5% also.
That all changes when the sentiment turns.
Added this to my watchlist few companies like this trading way below there cash value
wonder if we have lower to go until we see a recovery.... fingers crossed we move much higher!!

Flim Flam. How much of investment strategy is based on Twitter posts ? How well informed is the info or like so much of verbiage is hype and speculation. No where is there any reports of increased sales/turnover market expansion from any of the Investee Companies just jam tomorrow and give us your money "NOW" ! ? Even speculators ducking and diving on the minutest share price fluctuation. No serious uptake of available shares taking place. SVV share price still stuck and hovering at stagnant levels. Convince the audience PIRI has the where with all investments to go places ? so for just hope and speculation and more and more fundraising. Sooner or later fundraising may end up in the Corporate Finance black hole. GedW's only opinion.

With the share price at an all time low and trading well below asset value would not be surprised if Chris Akers who has a large holding or an associate is considering bidding for the whole company as now would be a good time
An easy buy and hold for a decent return here. The figures speak for themselves. Company is making progress and profit and trading at a third of NAV. All it will take is some patience or maybe even not.
Some savvy investors may say "PIRI is a dead loss" so why not invest direct in https://www.londonstockexchange.com/stock/S247/smarttech247-group-plc/company-page
What could be worse than cutting out the middle men ?
When PIRI was talked up to 17p and beyond before Corporate Equity Fundamental reality and common sense kicked in. PIRI continues to show equity weakness so where do those alleged rampers or seasoned substantial shareholdings now see where PIRI share price is heading ? So far it is a slow down hill trend with no obvious upside allegedly.
Looks like PIRI business as usual without any upside. If this is how its going to be, then there is no future news to get excited over. Just chucking good money on a moribund investment strategy. What PIRI needs is a flurry of rampers predicting 21p and beyond ? That strategy worked last tim ? However this PIRI is proving to be a poor portfolio investment strategy.

News release issued by Smarttech247 this morning:

Nice 200000 buy at full ask just gone through so maybe the share price is going by to move off all time low as trading well below net asset value
Positive response from PIRI to the latest SVV Investment fund announcement.
Nicholas Lee, Director of Pires, commented:
"Following its launch in March 2022, we are pleased to note the second investment of the Sure Valley Ventures UK Software Technology Fund. Jaid represents a very exciting, high-growth potential opportunity in the increasingly influential AI as a Service sector. The proceeds from the funding will be used to scale the business, grow Jaid's machine-learning team and geographical reach, as well as for the exploration of new verticals, such as the healthcare industry, where the company sees significant untapped value.
"We look forward to providing further updates with regard to Jaid and the SVV Software Fund in due course."
Maybe buys connected to SPREADEX long purchases on announcement of 15 Dec investee float ?
I found interesting how there were a few large buys a few days before news so clearly someone new something... I am guessing they have cashed out now.... I will average down here but probably has further to drop... :(
Having recently gone, allegedly , long on almost 6 million shares looks like SPREADEX LTD is expecting a nice earner from tomorrows float by one of PIRI's indirect investments. Investors appear not to be following the lead judging by recent purchases. With PIRI share price still showing weakening signs, mixed messages, as always, surrounds the direction in which PIRI share price will follow. But what is for sure at least one investee Company will be valued much higher than its current nbv.
RGO will hold 6.2% of Smarttech after it lists.
In turn RGO holds around 21% of PIRI.
Can see Pires has 20% of SVV, but how much does SVV have of Smarttech?
More details….
