Rns annual meeting nov 30 londnn
And oxford bio (pse tests 95% accurate after psa tests 50% accurate) trading between 32 and 35, expected to rise near and far term. Nice and volotile.
After deciding to invest in amur on the basis of their supergeologist from obtaining liscences right to the endgame of bust, takeover, or production, your way of trading rather than holding seems better. Understanding gaps and trading on them seems essential, can you give example of a gap and trading on the back of it, or somewhere I can google to learn easily please..... Thankyou. (exception ggp, ill stay with this)
Ill leave qed, i think you need good chart knowledge for this one.
Yep was in GGP when they were below 1p sadly didn't make the most of the big spike, sold far too early.
BTW there is still a GAP at 1.145p from 2018 on the GGP chart - looks likely that may now get filled.
Geng ill look qed... have u followed ggp
I know u absolutely right with forecast on nickle 6 mths ago.. I'm fully out now the last lot sold 8.05 and bought at 5. Are u a fan of uranium ? (etf)
Safest end game will be monies into a high div blue chip miner focus on copper.
Will our supergeologist shortly inform of a superinvestment deal ?????????????????????????????????????????????
Gaz,
If that 88M is in the hands of anyone anti RY then he's toast as they only get around 20-30M votes in total normally!
They don't have to notify holdings as they are a BVI co and its my understanding they still have to hold an AGM - so a chance to give RY a hard time and maybe even watch him get dumped!
Gwm121,
I only trade AIM never 'invest', AIM is just a lifestyle financier for their boards. Good to trade because of the volatility caused by the constant fund raises, but very view become good investments.
I'd be cautious of CEO's with big holdings as they can become 'blinkered' because of it. One of my few loses in recent years was WRES and the CEO had a large holding. I had made some very good trades but the rug was pulled from under them/me by debt and the energy crisis and I got caught holding.
As far as Nickel goes, I'd say the chart looks like it still has further to fall.
If you want a bit of an AIM punt have a look at QED, I've been trading this almost as long as AMC and looks like it's on the way to closing a GAP at 1.7p and may go further.
With my trust in the supergeologist I did think there would be an announcement of a deal a little way into the 6 months. However silence as so many times before.
Has RY behaved properly, in the shareholders interests? Other companies as woodford, eros are being pusued by no fee no win companies.
Geng, you predicted nickel would drop till end 2023, I found that hard to believe at the time, you were spot on, its 8
now falling every week.
My nickel etf still did very well, most of it sold now and moved to uranioum. Ideally wanted half in a copper share play that gives divi.
Any aim share I buy in future.. and there wont be many, I want a ceo with many shares in his own company to alighn interest with shareholders.
Totally agree Geng, criminal is the only word to describe it.Last years AGM was posted on 10thNov for the meeting on 5thDec. I wonder when this years will take place,or does it have to as we’re suspended, does anyone have the knowledge of that.My reason for keeping some shares was to tell Mr Young what a slimey git I think he is,but due to caring commitments I won’t be able to get back to the UK.I just hope that there is a meeting and some others will be equally disgusted with his contempt for sh’s and give him some awkward moment to dent his Christmas shopping trip to London.Though I suppose there is always the possibility that it will be held in a more obscure location.Nothing would be a surprise at this stage I’m sure
MD
Bet they come up with a hair brained deal just before 7th March to keep the trough available to themselves!
In my mind its criminal what they have done, apart from a few of us traders the person that has done best out of AMC is RY.
All the way through all his false promises and missed deadlines he's been feeding at the AMC trough and still is!
The silence of suspension is pretty much the same as the silence when they were supposed to be active
MD
And we have a plank, collecting 865 bucks per day for sitting by the pool. That seems to be his preferred option.
MD
Gwm121 we can only live in hope that they do but going on their past record of not answering messages sent to the CEO via the AMC website and leaving the announcement of the special dividend to the last moment and not providing shareholders with advice re the tax treatment of the special dividend I am not holding my breath.

Geng.. I cant believe. a while ago you predicted nickle would fall, as a battery metal must admit i thought .., REALLY !! well its 7.45 today 20 to 30pc down, falling daily for a while. (Though the xtal ball professional's seem to think it will rise 2024) Professionals now forecasting uranium to rise.
So hope amc board surprise us with transparency honesty communication ability to make deal.
I must say the Board of AMC have been as useful as a chocolate tea pot in providing assistance to shareholders in deciding if the special dividend is a return of capital or not!
You will not be getting my vote to approve any RTO!

Just noticed there was some spelling mistakes in my last post eg there instead of their

Gwm121 if you look at the consolidated statement of changes in equity on page 7 of the interim accounts you will see that the dividends declared of 31.284m USD are included in the column called accumulated deficit.
As I have explained before if AMC was a U.K. domiciled Company rather than a BVI domiciled company then under English Law it would be illegal for it to pay the special dividend.
Under BVI law it is allowed to pay the special dividend as long as it meets the BVI solvency requirements.
The charging of the dividends declared is an accounting entry however from a law perspective the special dividend is a return of capital.
HMRC may try and argue that if it is a return of capital then the special dividend should have been shown in the Share Capital Company column so that it is reduced by the 31.284m USD to then net down to 49.510m USD.
This argument is not valid because it is obvious to see that if there is a brought forward accumulated deficit of 40.529m USD then it is not possible to pay the special dividend out of the loss.
The service simplest way to demonstrate the principle above is that if you have 10 apples and you want to give someone 20 apples or 10 apples and 10 oranges then you can only give them 10 apples out of your holding of 10 apples you cannot possibly give them 20 apples irrespective of the fact there was a an accounting entry which shows that you have given them 20 apples.
Therefore if you want to give someone either 20 apples or 10 apples and 10 oranges and you only have 10 apples and 10 oranges you would have to give them 10 apples and 10 oranges despite what the accounting entries show that you gave.
Now apply the principle above and replace the share capital with oranges and the apples with accumulated losses and you can clearly see that if it was possible to have negative 10 apples you would not be able to give them 10 apples as you have none to give them.
Obviously it is not possible to have a negative amount of apples to start of with.
Obviously if HMRC try to run the argument that the payment of the special dividend is not a return call fof capital because there is an accounting entry in n the accumulated deficit then it will prove that they do not know there apples from their oranges!

How do I confirm the return of capital return special dividend was made from the capital contribution reserves account of the Company. I know there were two accounts from a post ages ago and know it was made from the "correct" account, but need in writing.
Geng maybe the grill across the trough is the no win no fee brigade already causing a problem for two other companies.
If an investment is found quickly could it be less than 6 months wait?
Does anyone have an eye for detail nowadays as there are no headings on any of the primary statements being statement of comprehensive income, balance sheet, cash flow statement etc.
The annoying thing is that the Board are being well paid for a part time job and they obviously have not read what has been issued in the RNS.
You do not need to be an accounting expert to notice issues like these you just need an eye for detail.
AGE
Of unclaimed dividends.. probably most of the holders are dead, I know of at least two.
There must have been a grill across the top of the trough as they haven't managed to get through anywhere near as much case as I'd thought!
The cash flow statement for the 6 months to 30 June 2023 includes payments to suppliers and staff of 9,132,000 USD!
I wonder what this is comprised of as it is 2.72 times the amount in the year ended 31 December 2022 and 6.37 times the amount in the 6 months to 30 June 2022.
We received 35m USD gross yet paid out 9.142m USD for costs which is a ridiculously high amount of money!
AGE
Brookie.. is it 6 months, if an investment is found before that can it be less,
Are there ways ry could extend the 6 months for longer salary time
Because of the issues of calling the previous monies return to shareholders dividend rather than return of capital which it seems to be, its going to muddy the waters even more with hnmrc if more monies returned in the next tax year... just after 6 months.
So as at 30 June they had $4.4m (ignoring the 1m restricted). That’s about £3.5m or about 0.25pps. And expenses over 6 months expected to be less than £0.2m. Wait for a return of cash of roughly double the last market price, or some surprisingly stellar deal!
Ag.. yes sad. ... Is this suspended 6 months or up to when an investment found? ....
Question is if ry is genuinely looking for value or taking salary expenses as loooong as he can.
Woodford and Eros ended up wiv big problems with no win no fee issues against them doing similar.
As I've said before, RY is amazing and supersuccesful geologist, in the past every hole he drilled more nickle. Nice if he had a last venture to be remembered as such.
