Today’s RNS

I’m impressed by the pace of events.
It appears that they are doing what they said they said they have set out to do.
There are an awful lot of companies who’s management are full of hot air and so far this doesn’t appear to be one of them.

Leke Deal
12 Sep '18
I am not sure its ideal.
Any hiccups in sales, or Leke becoming awkward next year, leaves the company vulnerable.
On a positive note, it does look like Immotion is a well run company, so hopefully these adverse situations can be avoided.

RE: Leke deal extended
12 Sep '18
Not very encouraging that the Leke deal is only extended for about a year til Dec 2019, why? Is it the nature of VR that it is always improving and they don’t want to commit to one vendor? Confidence in the product isn’t high enough to go further? Or Leke don’t want to commit further until they see further figures?

Leke deal extended
12 Sep '18
Leke VR has agreed to make the VR experiences produced by Immotion Group available across its entire base of installed VR platforms in 30 countries. The Group will monetise its content on a "per play" basis. The current usage on the Leke VR installed base is approximately 1 million "plays" per month and the Directors expect this to grow strongly. The parties will now begin a full assessment of the relevant operational matters, with a view to such distribution beginning towards the end of 2018.

Good point, perhaps they are in closing stages given today’s news, but a big risk until finalised and deadline has passed.

Wasn't there an MOU in place to agree an extension. Perhaps they're using that as an informal extension. Can be quite slippery dealing with Chinese counterparties and they don't do things in the usual way...

Missed RNS
30 Aug '18
Have I missed an RNS, I thought the company would have announced the outcome of the deadline that has now passed regarding the following from their admission document:

Page 42
...The agency agreement in relation to the UK will expire on 29 August 2018. Whilst there can be no
guarantee that such agreement will be extended (or if it is extended, that such extended agreement will
be on substantially the same commercial terms)...

Immotion Group Plc ("Immotion Group" or the "Group"), the UK-based immersive virtual reality ("VR") 'Out of Home' entertainment business, is pleased to announce that it has opened a new ImmotionVR location at Xscape Yorkshire, Castleford.

The Company now has three ImmotionVR experiences in operation, following the installation of ImmotionVR, Bristol last year and ImmotionVR, Manchester in June. This roll out is in line with the Company's strategy to build its suite of owned and operated sites within shopping centres and family entertainment destinations across the UK.

This is one of three revenue streams identified by the company to facilitate its vision to become a leading participant in the 'Out of Home' VR experience market by creating and publishing high quality VR content and combining it with its VR motion platforms to create truly immersive experiences.

The family-focused entertainment and leisure attraction, Xscape Yorkshire, welcomed 4.2 million visitors in 2017. Xscape Yorkshire also has an average 4.5 out of 5 rating on consumer website TripAdvisor.

Martin Higginson, Executive Chairman of Immotion, said: "We are rapidly delivering on our strategy and are very proud to have delivered our third ImmotionVR centre in just seven months. We are delighted to partner with Xscape Yorkshire, which provides great family entertainment to the people of Yorkshire and beyond. We hope that this latest ImmotionVR site delivers the same fun and great ratings that we have seen in Bristol and Manchester as we continue to build the business across the UK, Europe and USA in what is an exciting, fast growing market."

Jason Warren, Xscape Yorkshire General Manager, said: "ImmotionVR has filled the gap for quality virtual reality experiences at Xscape. It's a fantastic addition to our line-up and is sure to be a hit with our customers, both big and small."

Agreed, they have history on AIM (previous tech companies) and backed by instos. Think we can agree VR has more legs than annoying ringtones!

Ive seen this company demo at an investment show a few months back ( I fed a dinosaur a bush via their VR headset..... a bit mental actually but great fun) Their stuff was impressive and the people seem to have their heads screwed on. I have bought today with a view to add as it climbs. I think this really is the future....I like the early interest from Octopus too. Good luck for those considering

RE: Agency Agreements

Given the institutions involved, would be egg on their face if the renewal wasn't in hand and if they didn't seek assurances from the company on this. The admission doc also says they've identified alternative suppliers as well. Having said that, someone I know raised the same point and is trying to get answers from the company.
