oh dear what a sad case you are or always have been.
walk the car lots kicking tyres
5 people including myself cant stop laughing on this comment, I am not sure how you came up with the analogy but Harrydash that's pretty good
Male or female I'd suggest Smithy needs a good stiffy; loosen them up a little! Been a while though I expect!
What do you do at weekends Smithy, walk the car lots kicking tyres?? how do you find the time to regularly commentate on a stock you dont own ? how can you be tired of the share price, when it has no bearing on you?
I don't undertand moaning about a share if not invested either as a short, or a long.
Bananas comes to mind.
That ssmith_trader is a complete clown and a joke for all to see. A total newb and completely clueless about this company, I'm getting a bit tired of seeing your naieve and negative views on here day after day so do us all a favour and pipe down! The fact you said you're not invested and yet continue to post day after day says it all about what type of person you are! I strongly suggest no one listens to the codswallop that comes out of this oaf's keyboard! Go find yourself a life and leave us investors in peace!
thats because youre a newbie ssmith_trader
its a joke if you call up a company because you bought its shares in an open market,
and you called when not even invested - thats more than a joke.
precisely who do you think you are to warrant an answer from a corporation ?
that too over the phone ?
if you did invest, how much would you invest ?
if you do anything to do with EVRH it would be dismal to millions of pounds worth of placings.
if you do all you could do - it would be infinitesimal compared to what MVR got in terms of marketing.
help yourself - learn to walk then you can run, hopefully one day you will fly high but definitely learn to talk less.
caveat emptor
I’m not particularly bothered by the share price or how slow it’s going (we haven’t even been out for a year yet) but I agree that it’s frustrating when they use phrases like “coming soon” and “in the coming months” to describe deals with more venues, launches on new headsets, and roll-outs to other countries.
They line a lot of stuff up, and then go completely silent on it.
Maybe you can forgive it in a new company, but the only other AIM share I hold is VRE - another new company - and when they realised that titanic was going to be delayed on PlayStation they came clean in an RNS. that’s what melody should be doing.
I wonder how long the 'NDA', 'Strategic reasons' 'buyout' mantra will continue.... so far these have all been negative.. if you don't believe me, go check the share price. I am surprised that with so many still clinging on to the potential, that no one has actually contacted management / IR to find out more about news. Looks like I'm the only one that's tried and I'm not even invested!
Just to clarify I definitely didn't say AM and SH SHOULD move on or suggest they don't have what it takes to take the company to that level we dream of. Not every founder of a company wants to be there long term, that's the only reason I suggested they may want to exit after laying solid foundations and I was merely speculating the reason for an exit could be why we might not have seen the pace of progression many were expecting since launch.
They could simply be silent for strategic reasons or NDA's like being tied up to Facebook exclusively until maybe Quest is launch for facebook to use MVR in marketing like at Christmas, again plenty of reasons for steady progress and lack of solid road map but not necessarily negative.
If I was Melody / evrh I would look to go private. Granted any private investor would not pay up 20p but probably might pay ~ $100m maximum. That would give Melody the freedom to grow without private investors wanting continuous updates. Investors could choose to stay invested with Melody or sell and move on. What's very apparent though, is that AIM is not a vehicle they should be using. Totally agree that AM / SH should move on and bring in tech experts that have the experience to grow a startup that is aiming to be innovative.
mycool, No live performances? Not sure what else you would call the Liam Payne show then, it was broadcast 'LIVE' and he was 'Performing'. It was a free event with 15mins broadcast live, they proved the tech worked for its intended purpose and as far as I could tell all seemed to go technically without a hitch and good quality experience.
I think most would agree with your sentiment that something more would have happened by now and I echo that with my own feeling, I had expected more platforms, countries, Live shows, app upgrades and website upgrades etc etc by now or at the least more action towards all of those things with some more detailed times lines.
This is why myself and others are starting to think since release everything may have been setup as a working platform ready for someone much larger to buy them out and take them to the level they can and hopefully will be in the VR industry armed with long term deals with labels, venues, key employees etc and a 2+ year back catalogue of content ready to unleash with some marketing money. MVR's full potential was always likely to take many years not months out of their control as it relies on the development of the VR industry as a whole which is exponentially on the up despite the click bait articles would have you believe otherwise. I wouldn't blame AM or SH wanting an exit and not taking them to the level they could reach, its a long long road to that ultimate success and they have had 3+ years at it so far which I personally think they have laid some fantastic foundations for huge success for whoever wants to take on the challenge of MVR being the number 1 VR music app in the future.
Still think MVR will play out in a positive big way for the Long term holder's just short term its frustrating especially if you are sitting at a loss and the company is so silent, me being one of those at a loss right now to which I am very frustrated but trying to be patient too!
beginning to look very likely sub 4p as board dont seem to care about their investors, or maybe they only talk to the really big ones! the rest can go hang! meanwhile I am down nearly 50% and worrying. are their ideas really any good? they have had not far off a year since supposed "launch" and the only thing that has happened has been a steady drop in company value. No live performances as promised (The Liam Payne thing was a sham), we need a proper big band/venue not some back yard thing. Maybe they are still not ready, maybe they cant get it to work properly in the field, whatever something should have happened by now.
Whilst I can take the negative views posted on this board, I am still a LT believer in this company, as mentioned by BA there are some very big names heavily investing in VR technology, VR will only get better and better, to be partnered with FB and being one of the frontrunners in their US advertising campaign means that when the VR boom starts to take hold we will be centre stage. How soon that happens I don't know but patience will eb the virtue here for the long term holders. I will be spending my bonus money on topping up, personally would be happy if it drops below 4 as selfishly it will be another great entry level for me to top up. GLA
