Treasury shares

On 1 August 2014, the Company transferred 428 ordinary shares at £3.79 per share to a participant in its 2011 Sharesave Scheme, 419 ordinary shares at £2.74 per share to a participant in its 2012 Sharesave Scheme and 661 ordinary shares at £2.72 to a participant in its 2013 Sharesave Scheme. These shares were previously held as treasury shares.

Following the above transactions, the Company holds 16,223,188 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 648,313,818 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
