Treasury shares
On 26 May 2015, the Company transferred to a participant in the 2001 ICAP plc Unapproved Company Share Option Plan 250,000 ordinary shares at an exercise cost of 493p per share. These shares were previously held as treasury shares.
Following the above transaction, the Company holds 14,615,607 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 649,921,399 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
