Treasury Shares
The Company announces that on 8 August 2008 it transferred to participants in its 2005 Sharesave scheme 35,521 ordinary shares at £2.24. These shares were previously held as treasury shares.
Following the above transactions, the Company holds 562,001 ordinary shares in Treasury, and has 649,085,191 ordinary shares in issue (excluding Treasury shares).
