Treasury shares
The Company announces that on 2 February 2015 it transferred to a participant in the 2001 ICAP plc Unapproved Company Share Option Plan 500,000 ordinary shares at an exercise cost of 297p. These shares were previously held as treasury shares.
Following the above transaction, the Company holds 15,384,687 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 649,152,319 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
