Treasury shares
On 24 April 2015, the Company transferred to a participant in the 2001 ICAP plc Unapproved Company Share Option Plan 100,000 ordinary shares at an exercise cost of 297p per share. These shares were previously held as treasury shares.
Following the above transaction, the Company holds 14,974,342 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 649,562,664 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
