Treasury Shares
The Company announces that on 2 September 2008 it transferred to participants in its 2005 Sharesave scheme 31,208 ordinary shares at £2.24. These shares were previously held as treasury shares.
Following the above transactions, the Company holds 488,506 ordinary shares in Treasury, and has 649,158,686 ordinary shares in issue (excluding Treasury shares).
