Treasury Shares
The Company announces that on 27 August 2008 it transferred to participants in its 2005 Sharesave scheme 8,458 ordinary shares at £2.24. These shares were previously held as treasury shares.
Following the above transactions, the Company holds 519,714 ordinary shares in Treasury, and has 649,127,478 ordinary shares in issue (excluding Treasury shares).
