Treasury shares
The Company announces that on 14 August 2013 it transferred to a number of participants in its 2010 Sharesave Scheme 15,625 ordinary shares at £2.88 per share. These shares were previously held as treasury shares.
Following the above transaction, the Company holds 17,088,626 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 647,448,380 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
