Treasury shares
The Company announces that on 15 January 2014 it transferred to a number of participants in its 2010 Sharesave Scheme 10,625 ordinary shares at £2.88 per share, and it transferred to a participant in its 2011 Sharesave Scheme 1,783 ordinary shares at £3.79 per share. These shares were previously held as treasury shares.
Following the above transactions, the Company holds 16,771,753 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 647,765,253 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
