Treasury shares
On 5 September 2016, the Company transferred to a participant in the ICAP plc Senior Executive Equity Participation Plan 131,324 ordinary shares at an exercise cost of £2.00. These shares were previously held as treasury shares.
Following the above transaction, the Company holds 11,966,441 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 652,570,565 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
