Transaction in Own Shares 

The Company announces that on 23 September 2008 it purchased for 

cancellation 7,500,000 ordinary shares at 95 pence per share. 

Following the above purchase, the Company now has 190,173,773 ordinary shares in issue. 

The above figure (190,173,773) may be used by shareholders as the 

denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Leaf Clean Energy Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
