Centaur Media Plc (LSE: CAU) announces that on 3 October 2016 it purchased through Numis Securities Ltd the following number of its ordinary shares at an average price of 0.440229p per share:

Number of ordinary shares purchased: 33,663

Average price: 0.440229p

Highest purchase price paid per share: 44.500p

Lowest purchase price paid per share: 43.000p

The purchased shares will be held in treasury.

Following the above transactions, the Company has 150,207,960 ordinary shares in issue and holds 6,580,753 ordinary shares in treasury. Therefore the total number of voting rights in the Company is 143,627,207 which may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Centaur Media Plc under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
