Caledonia Investments plc ("Caledonia") announces that on 21 February 2012 it purchased 1,500 of its own ordinary shares of 5p each at an average price of 1538.47 pence per share. The purchased shares will be cancelled.

Following the above purchase of shares, Caledonia's issued share capital includes 57,440,801 ordinary shares of 5p each with voting rights.
