Purchase of own shares

Novae announces that on 30 January 2012 it purchased 5,000 Ordinary shares of £1.125 at a price of 343 pence per share representing 0.008% of the Company's current issued ordinary share capital. These 5,000 Ordinary shares are to be held in treasury.

For the purposes of the Financial Services Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, the total number of Ordinary shares in issue as at the date of this notice (excluding 458,400 Ordinary Shares held in treasury) is 64,627,240.

The figure of 64,627,240 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they can determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest, in the Company under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
