Caledonia Investments plc ("Caledonia") announces that on 14 December 2012 it purchased 58,897 of its own ordinary shares of 5p each at an average price of 1521.85 pence per share. The purchased shares will be cancelled.

Following the above purchase of shares, Caledonia's issued share capital includes 56,671,404 ordinary shares of 5p each with voting rights.
