Wilmington Group Plc26 March 2008 Wilmington Group plc Transactions in own shares Wilmington Group PLC announces that it has today purchased through Numis Securities Limited 60,000 ordinary shares at an average price of 187 pence per share. The highest price and lowest price paid for these shares was 187 pence per share. The purchased shares will all be held as treasury shares. Following the above purchase, the Company holds 1,767,000 ordinary shares in Treasury and has a total of 82,699,679 ordinary shares (excluding shares held in Treasury) in issue. The number of ordinary shares purchased represented 0.07% of the voting rights attributable to the total ordinary shares in issue prior to such purchases.
