Transaction in Own Shares

JARDINE STRATEGIC HOLDINGS LIMITED ('JSH') SHARE REPURCHASE Please be advised of the following market repurchase by JSH (the 'Repurchase') of its ordinary shares (the 'Shares'):- Date of repurchase: 21st May 2010 Total number of shares repurchased: 177,000 shares Price paid per share: US$18.6218 The repurchased shares will be cancelled. The repurchase of Shares is made in accordance with the share repurchase guidelines agreed with the UK Listing Authority. JSH is subject to a requirement to maintain a free float of at least 15%.
