Transaction in own shares

ICAP plc announces that on 25 November 2011 it purchased 619,741 of its 10p ordinary shares at a price of 325.6700 pence per ordinary share.

The shares purchased will be held as Treasury Shares and are part of its ongoing capital management.

Following the above purchase, the Company holds 14,899,895 ordinary shares as Treasury Shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held in treasury) is 649,452,597.

This share buyback is in accordance with the authority granted by shareholders at its annual general meeting in July 2011.
