Transaction in Own Shares 

Ludgate Environmental Fund Limited announces that in accordance with the authority granted by shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting on 21 December 2012, it yesterday purchased 200,000 of its ordinary shares at a price of 55p per share. The ordinary shares purchased will be cancelled. 

The total number of ordinary shares in issue, following the above purchase and cancellation, is 56,059,784.
