Man Group plc (the "Company") announces that it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 3 3/7 US cents on the London Stock Exchange through J.P. Morgan Securities plc as part of its US$50 million share repurchase programme announced on 22 October 2018.

The Company intends to hold the purchased shares in treasury. Following the purchase and settlement of these shares, the Company will hold 36,873,910 of its ordinary shares in treasury and will have 1,573,268,403 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares). (Note: This figure takes into account the transfer from treasury of 11,076 ordinary shares on 30 October 2018 in order to satisfy the exercise of options under the Company's Sharesave Scheme).

Since the commencement of the share repurchase programme, the Company has repurchased 3,314,987 ordinary shares in aggregate at a weighted average price of 149.1480 pence per share.
