Total Voting Rights Update

Aberdeen Private Equity Fund Limited (the "Company") announces that following the recent transactions in Own Shares (as announced on 11th, 23rd, 26th and 30th November 2010), the total voting rights in respect in the Company is now 131,597,736.

Accordingly, the current issued share capital consists of 131,597,736 Ordinary Shares with voting rights. Shareholders may use this figure as the denominator for the calculations by which they determine whether they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
