Notification of the Total Voting Rights and Capital in accordance with the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules provision 5.6.1 R

As at 1 September 2011, the Company's total issued share capital consists of 247,913,014 ordinary shares of 1p each. The Company currently holds 2,654,790 ordinary shares in treasury.

Therefore, the total number of issued shares with voting rights in the Company is currently 245,258,224.

The above figure of 245,258,224 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
