Nichols PLC22 December 2006 NICHOLS PLC TOTAL VOTING RIGHTS AND CAPITAL In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6,Nichols plc (the "Company") would like to notify the market that the capital ofthe Company consists of 36,968,772 ordinary shares with a nominal value of 10peach, with voting rights. The Company does not hold any ordinary shares in Treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 36,968,772 (the"Figure").
