Total Voting Rights and Share Capital

Following the issue by Petro Matad of 5,000,000 ordinary shares of $0.01 each ("Shares") on 25 June 2009, the Company advises that as at the date of this notice the total number of Shares in issue is 101,705,004 with each Share carrying the right to one vote.

There are no Shares held in treasury.

The total number of voting rights in the Company is therefore 101,705,004. The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company.
