Thistle Mining Inc.30 June 2005 THISTLE MINING INC ( "Thistle" or the "Company") As previously announced, Thistle Mining Inc ("Thistle") obtained an order onJanuary 7, 2005 from the Ontario Superior Court of Justice to commence Thistle'srestructuring under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act ("CCAA"). On May10, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice granted a sanction order approving theThistle Plan of Compromise and Reorganization (the "Plan") dated March 24, 2005pursuant to the CCAA. Trading in Thistle's existing securities on AIM has been suspended pendingimplementation of the Plan which is expected to be completed in Canada on June30, 2005. It is anticipated that trading in Thistle's common shares on AIM willrecommence in the week commencing July 4, 2005. A further announcement will bemade once the Plan has been implemented.
