SVB Holdings PLC22 July 2005 NEWS RELEASE For immediate release SVB HOLDINGS PLC Syndicate Business Plans SVB Syndicates Limited, the Lloyd's managing agency owned by SVB Holdings PLC(SVB), has submitted its business forecasts to Lloyd's, and for Syndicate 1007,where there are third party Names, a summary version has been submitted tomembers' agents. Summary versions of these business forecasts for both SVB'ssyndicates are now available on the company's website www.svb.co.uk. Subject to further review as the outlook for 2006 evolves, these plans currentlyimply total managed capacity on SVB syndicates for 2006 of £406 million (2005£437 million), a reduction of 7%. They are subject to Lloyd's approval.
