Kingdom Meikles Limited, together with its subsidiaries Tanganda Tea Company Limited and Thomas Meikle Centre (Private) Limited were specified by the Government of Zimbabwe on 11 September 2009.
On 15 September 2009, the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange suspended the Kingdom Meikles Limited share from the stock exchange.
