Statement re RSPO

Round Table on Sustainable Palm Oil ("RSPO") Certification

R.E.A. Holdings plc (the "company") announces that its operating subsidiary, PT REA Kaltim Plantations ("REA Kaltim"), has now received certification that it meets the applicable RSPO standards as a producer of sustainable palm oil. The certification covers the two crude palm oil mills operated by REA Kaltim as well as the REA Kaltim oil palm estates and their associated smallholders.

Audit for RSPO accreditation of the company's other principal operating subsidiary, PT Sasana Yudha Bhakti, is planned for later in 2011.
