Portmeirion Group PLC12 January 2007 Portmeirion Group PLC ("Portmeirion" or the "Group") Site Disposal In its last interim statement Portmeirion referred to a significant freeholdsite which will be vacated during the first half of 2007 after the newwarehouse, which is currently being fitted out, is commissioned. The Group is pleased to announce that the sale of this freehold site has beencompleted today. The 4.8 acre site, situated in Stoke-on-Trent, together with buildings andequipment not required by the Group, was sold for £2,175,000 in cash. The sale will result in an exceptional gain of approximately £1,700,000.
