Result of EGM
Connemara Mining Company plc (LON: CON), the Irish gold and zinc exploration and development company, announces that at its Extraordinary General Meeting held earlier today the resolution to change the name of the Company to Arkle Resources Plc ("Arkle") was duly approved by shareholders. Arkle will trade under the TIDM: ARK.
No new share certificates will be issued in respect of existing ordinary shares held in certificated form. Shareholders should retain their existing share certificates, which will remain valid.
An announcement confirming the effective date of the name change, the new website address and an operational update will be made in due course.

Connemara currently holds interests in a total of 37 licences, including joint ventures with Teck Ireland Ltd. at the Oldcastle Zinc Project and with Group Eleven Resources Corp. at the Stonepark Zinc Project.
