The Board of TriVen VCT plc is pleased to announce that the Company hasreceived tax clearance from HM Revenue and Customs that, under the proposedshare consolidation and subsequent sub-division of the Company's share capitalenvisaged in a circular to shareholders dated 22 September 2006 ("the Circular"), shareholderswill not be regarded as disposing of their shares for UK taxation purposes.An EGM to consider this, and other proposals as set out in the Circular, willbe held on Wednesday 18 October.ENDTRIVEN VCT PLC
