Resignation of Non-Executive Directors

Afren plc ("Afren" or the "Company") announces that Mr Peter Bingham and Mr John St John will resign as Non-Executive Directors of Afren with effect from the close of the Company's 2015 Annual General Meeting scheduled for Wednesday 25 June 2015.

Peter Bingham, who has served as a Director of the Company since May 2005, and John St. John, who has served as a Director of the Company since June 2007, have advised the Board that they wish to retire and will therefore not be putting themselves forward for re-election at the AGM.

As previously announced, the Company is seeking to appoint additional non-executive directors to the Board and will make further appointments in due course as appropriate."
