In accordance with the provisions of article 228 of the Spanish Securities Markets Act, Endesa, S.A. hereby publishes the following

SIGNIFICANT EVENT

Endesa, S.A. ("ENDESA"), through Enel Green Power España, SL (“EGPE”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Endesa Generación, S.A., was awarded 540 MW of wind power capacity in the auction held today by the Ministry for Energy, Tourism and the Digital Agenda.

ENDESA intends to invest approximately Euro 600 million on construction of the wind capacity awarded. Once built and commissioned, the wind capacity will generate approximately 1,750 GWh of power a year.
