OTE GROUP'S EXPOSURE TO THE CYPRIOT BANKING SECTOR

OTE Group's exposure to the Cypriot Banking Sector

ATHENS, Greece - March 27, 2013 - Hellenic Telecommunications Organization SA (ASE: HTO, OTC MARKET: HLTOY), the Greek full-service telecommunications provider, announces that following the letter ref. no 1257/27-3-2013 of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission regarding OTE Group's exposure to the Cypriot Banking Sector, OTE informs its shareholders that the Group's deposits in Cyprus Bank, CPB Bank and Hellenic Bank, stand at about €3 mn. A major part of this amount represents collateral for, already issued, letters of guarantee.
