Notice of AGM

Oxus Gold plc ("Oxus" or "the Company") confirms that the Annual General Meeting will be held at 11.00 a.m. on 30 June 2011 at the offices of Fairfax I.S. PLC, 46 Berkeley Square, London W1J 5AT.

The Notice of Annual General Meeting is being posted to shareholders today, and will be available on the Company's website shortly.

Due to the difficulties surrounding the situation with Oxus' joint venture Amantaytau Goldfields (as explained in the announcements made by the Company on 3 March 2011 and 21 March 2011), it is taking the Company longer than expected to finalise its results for the year ended 31 December 2010. Circumstances permitting, the Company will announce the final results for the year ended 31 December 2010 and post the 2010 Annual Report to shareholders as soon as practicable. A separate general meeting to approve the annual accounts for 2010 shall be convened thereafter.
