Office of Fair Trading15 September 2006 The OFT has announced that it is consulting on proposed undertakings followingthe completed acquisition by Johnston Press Plc of Local Press Limited. Thisfollows the OFT's announcement on 5 May 2006 that the merger would not bereferred to the Competition Commission if suitable undertakings in lieu ofreference were given by Johnston Press Plc.
