Manx Telecom launches Strongest Signal SIMs for direct sale in the UK to combatmobile coverage "not-spots"

Manx Telecom Plc (AIM:MANX; the "Company"), the leading communication solutions provider on the Isle of Man, is making its Strongest Signal Mobile product available direct to UK businesses and consumers under the new brand name, Chameleon Direct.

Strongest Signal Mobile SIMs provide customers with the highest level of mobile coverage at all times. From its position as an international mobile virtual network operator and its agreements with all UK mobile operators, Manx Telecom's Strongest Signal Mobile SIMs have access to multiple UK networks and are able to switch automatically to another network if signal strength drops off.

Manx Telecom has sold the smart SIM technology (known as Chameleon) through partners and affiliate channels for 15 years. Today over 50,000 people around the UK rely on Chameleon SIMs, particularly in rural areas where mobile coverage can be intermittent. The SIMs are especially popular with the emergency services, security services, rural vets, lone workers, and VIPs for whom gaining access to the strongest mobile signal in any location is critical to their work and even their safety.

For the first time, customers anywhere in the UK can now buy Strongest Signal Mobile SIMs directly from Manx Telecom online. This one-stop service is known as Chameleon Direct and has a simple and competitive pricing structure.
