Legal Settlement
Clarksons, the world's leading integrated shipping services group, is today pleased to announce that its subsidiary, H. Clarkson & Co. Limited ("the Company") has now reached a full and final settlement with Mr Nikitin and the corporate entities involved to conclude all outstanding matters between them.
Under the terms of the settlement, which all parties have agreed will remain confidential, an amount of USD 7m has been received by the Company which will be accounted for as an exceptional item in the Group's accounts for the current financial year, ended 31 December 2012.
