Corac Group Plc09 May 2005 For Immediate Release 9 May 2005 CORAC GROUP PLC Launch of CS Fusion Industrial Air Compressor and Two High Speed Turbo Compressors Corac Group, the intellectual property, engineering and licensing groupspecialising in compressor technology recently presented the CS Fusion no-oilindustrial air compressor and two high speed direct drive turbo compressors in50 kW and 150 kW sizes at the Hannover Industrial Fair in Germany. The Companyis pleased to announce that in response to much interest at the Fair from alarge number of major corporations based in the US, Europe and the Far East,demonstrations of these three products have already commenced at Corac'sfacilities in Uxbridge. The CS Fusion is an entirely new concept, which uses Corac's direct drive turbocompressor to boost a water injected screw compressor, increasing output by 140%and improving energy efficiency by 14%. This hybrid combination brings togetherthe ideal characteristics of both compressors, with the 50 kW turbo compressordelivering high air volume at instantaneously variable speeds complementing thewater screw compressor's ability to deliver the high pressure requirements ofmany industries. At the same time, the combination provides oil-free air to theall important growing demand for non-contamination. The new 50kW and 150 kW high speed turbo compressor spools, with novel airbearings and compact high density permanent magnet motor drives, are the latestin the family of units giving Corac the ability to provide a 100 kW to 500 kWrange for their unique 'No-Oil' compressor.
