Ascent Resources PLC19 December 2007 ASCENT RESOURCES PLC ("Ascent" or the "Company") Issue of Equity Ascent announces that it has issued and allotted 875,000 ordinary shares of 0.1peach ("Ordinary Shares") pursuant to an exercise of warrants at an exerciseprice of 12p per share. Application has been made to the London Stock Exchangefor the Ordinary Shares, which will rank pari passu with existing shares inissue, to be admitted to trading on AIM, and admission is expected to becomeeffective on 24 December 2007. The total number of Ordinary Shares in the Company in issue following theadditional listing will be 302,592,042.
