Avocet Mining PLC09 September 2005 9 September 2005 Avocet Mining PLC ("Avocet" or the "Company") Issue of equity The directors of Avocet have today allotted 250,000 new Ordinary Shares in theCompany upon the exercise of 100,000 Options at an exercise price of 25p and theexercise of 150,000 Options at an exercise price of 30p. Application has been made for the new shares to be traded on the AIM of theLondon Stock Exchange. Trading is expected to commence on 12 September 2005.
