Initial Response to Revised Offer from Pala Minerals Limited

The Independent Sub-Committee (the "Sub-Committee") of the Company's Board notes the revised offer (the "Revised Offer") for the Company's shares announced by Pala Minerals Limited this afternoon. The Sub-Committee will review the terms of the Revised Offer in conjunction with its independent advisors and a further announcement will be made in due course.
