Corrections to previous released announcement 

The following replaces the "Holdings in Company" announcement released on 17 September 2008 at 13.38 under RNS No 6605D.

As previously released the announcement should have read 10,800,000*. 

The full amended text is shown below:

Laura Ashley Holdings plc ("the Company") received notification on 16 September 2008 from Kerry Group Limited that on 12 September 2008 it purchased the Company's ordinary shares of 5 pence each increasing its total shareholding to 24,810,383 ordinary shares, representing 3.41% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company (excluding treasury shares).

14,010,383 shares are held by Creation Investments Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kerry 1989 (C.I.) Limited which in turn, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kerry Holdings Limited ("KHL"). 10,800,000* shares are held by Dalex Investments Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of KHL. KHL is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kerry Group Limited.
