African Eagle Resources PLC06 January 2005 AFRICAN EAGLE PLC HOLDINGS IN COMPANY African Eagle (the Company, Ticker: AFE) has been notified that Morgan StanleySecurities Limited has acquired interests in shares which result in a totalshareholding in the Company of 3,305,000 shares, equivalent to 3.56% of thetotal shares currently in issue. The Company has also been informed by RAB Capital that the total number ofshares held by funds under its management following the Placing announced on 21December 2004 is 22,605,312, equivalent to 24.34% of the total shares currentlyin issue.
