Publication of Annual Report & Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2008, and a Shareholder Circular.

Guinness Peat Group plc (the "Company") announces that it has today forwarded to the Financial Services Authority for publication through the document viewing facility a copy of the Company's Consolidated Annual Report & Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2008 and a Circular to its shareholders regarding a Scrip Dividend Alternative and the proposed 2009 Capitalisation Issue (the "Documents").

Copies of the Documents may be accessed on the website of the Company on www.gpgplc.com and printed copies of the Documents are being posted to all shareholders who have indicated that they require a copy.
