CALCULUS VCT PLC (the "Company")

DECLARATION OF SPECIAL DIVIDEND ON C SHARES

Within the Company's Prospectus dated 7 January 2011, it was stated that the Company's aim with regard to the C shares was to provide by 14 March 2017 annual dividends of 22.5p per C share and a further 47.5p per C share by way of special dividend or cash tender offer.

The Company has already paid annual dividends of 22.5p and has decided to pay a special dividend of 47.6p in order to meet the target mentioned above.

The Board is therefore pleased to declare a special dividend of 47.6p per C Share to be paid on 24 February 2017 to C Shareholders on the register at 3 February 2017.
